What to order for Italian catering: two pastas, a chicken main, a big salad, bread
Almost every Italian office order lands on the same five trays. Keep one pasta red and one not: baked ziti in marinara beside a pesto penne or something lemon and light. Add a chicken main, usually piccata, marsala, or parmesan. Then a Caesar or chopped antipasto salad big enough to be a real choice, and bread.
The red sauce order is the most reliable crowd-feeder in office catering because nobody has to decode it. No unfamiliar ingredient, no heat level to warn anyone about, and the vegetarians are covered by the pasta they were taking anyway.
