Plan on 24 to 48 hours. Some pizzerias take same day orders, but a large order needs longer because every pie goes through the same oven. Check the lead time listed on the catering partner you want.
Plan on 2 to 3 slices a person, and a large pie usually cuts into 8. That puts 20 people at 5 large pizzas for a working lunch and 8 for a party or dinner.
At 2 to 3 slices a person, 50 people eat 100 to 150 slices, or 13 to 19 large pizzas. Order toward the low end for a working lunch and the high end when pizza is the whole meal.
Yes. Many catering partners here list gluten free crusts, dairy free cheese, and vegan pies, and menus flag those items. For celiac disease or a severe allergy, add a note to the order, because a gluten free crust often bakes in the same oven as the rest.
