We believe catering is an art at Zerocater. Most people aren’t aware how much goes into a catering experience and what takes an event from good to great. We differ from a simple ‘online ordering’ company in many ways—we aren’t just curating a pizza delivery order here.
It all starts with a headcount and a budget, followed by dietary restrictions and preferences. Once Zerocater has these variables, we get to work our magic. We select the best restaurant to fill our clients’ needs and work one-on-one with them to curate a perfect catering experience. We ask a lot from our vendors in order to help each other perform to the best of our abilities.
Our vendors are required to meticulously list out each ingredient in each dish so that we can confidently serve all team members including those with specific dietary needs for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Vendors are also required to provide us with constant updates on where they are, estimated time of delivery, pictures of setup, three-step confirmation of delivery and setup, and more. There’s nothing worse than an office of hungry people bombarding you with questions regarding the whereabouts of lunch.
Every week, our Operations team meets and asks for our team members to shout-out any restaurants that have performed at the Zerocater level. Once a month, we pick a vendor that exonerates the qualities we look for to be considered ‘perfect’, this month R.S.V.P. Catering is our choice for Vendor of the Month!
Currently, they have a perfect 5-star rating on Yelp and a 4 out of 5 Zerocater internal rating. R.S.V.P. Catering serves a great variety of dishes from the hors d’oeurves to dessert. They do not have a checkbox list of menu items they make; instead they custom create menus for every occasion. They also have the ability to work with any dietary needs like gluten free, lactose free, etc. We’ve caught them going above and beyond with client meal setup, adding great finishing touches like adding flowers and more.
