We’re proud to announce Zerocater has exceeded $100 million in total sales and is now serving tens of thousands of a meals per day.
We’ve fed thousands of the best companies in the world, including Google, Nissan, Samsung, TED, Salesforce, The Colbert Report, and The Daily Show.
I was 23 when I started Zerocater out of my living room on a handful of spreadsheets. We were the first company with our model. We’re now the leader in our space, despite having only raised $1.5 million. I can safely attribute this to the amazing people I’m lucky enough to work with.
We’ve grown to almost 100 people, having doubled in just a few months. We have offices in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and Austin—with more coming. We’ve been extremely deliberate with our expansion, given how many companies struggle after rapid geographic growth.
Long ago it was considered innovative when companies began offering health benefits to their employees. Today it’s considered standard. Not so long ago it was innovative when a few companies made communal meals part of their culture. Now, for many companies it’s just best practice.
We believe companies not only lose time when they force their employees to forage each day, but more importantly, they miss an opportunity to bring coworkers together to learn from one another and build a stronger culture.
This is just the beginning for us. There is so still much we can do and so many things we’re excited to build.
