Culinary Courier is a small catering company based in the SF Bay Area Peninsula. Since 2004, chef Terri Piazza Shong has been serving intimate dinner parties of six, to large parties of 100 and beyond. Culinary Courier helps busy Silicon Valley residents entertain family and friends. Their menu features a variety of fare from casual to elegant
Terri and her staff are committed to working for a cause, employing adults with developmental disabilities. In college, Shong worked extensively with the Special Olympics and continued to serve the community after she graduated. Her employees partake in various areas of the business, including kitchen prep and dishwashing to deliveries. The staff takes immense pride in working for Culinary Courier.
The partnership between Culinary Courier and Zerocater has allowed Song to increase her staff size and ensure consistent working hours for current employees. It has also helped Terri streamline the logistics side of her business. With limited time and resources, her energy is focused on fulfilling orders—not on addressing administrative issues. The additional revenue is helping the teamwork toward opening a brick and mortar location in Los Gatos.
