There are two things at the heart of Zerocater—our vendors and our clients. Without these two things, we simply cannot run. Food is personal. When you walk into a Quick Service Restaurant (think, chipotle, Starbucks, MacDonald’s), you have a very impersonal experience. You may stand in a line, place, your order, wait for your name or number to be called—nothing about that is personal. While that works in a pinch, it doesn’t keep us going long term.
Food nourishes the body, but it also feeds something else inside of us—perhaps a passion or spirit. For our vendor partners, food is their passion. They have artfully crafted restaurants, menus, and experiences that speak to something beyond a full belly. Each day, clients all over the San Francisco Bay Area enjoy, hot, fresh, and filling food from our prized local vendors.
To our vendors, we say thank you. Thank you for your dedication to your craft, thank you for your passion, thank you for going the extra mile each and every day for our clients. Once a year we throw our beloved vendors a party to show our appreciation. This event is intended to give them an opportunity to kick back and enjoy some tasty treats and network with other hospitality professionals.
The 2015 Zerocater Vendor Appreciation Party will be held next Thursday, November 5. The Zerocater staff will be whipping up some of their favorite eats and we will have plenty of cold drinks. If you’re an SF Bay Area Zerocater vendor be sure to RSVP and join us as we honor all of your hard work.
