Zerocater has officially integrated into HipChat, making it easier than ever to check out the menu for the office.
HipChat is an instant messaging system that empowers teams to collaborate online. File sharing, GIF sending, and now menu-perusing, all accomplished through HipChat.
Zerocater for HipChat is available for HipChat users to populate their company’s scheduled meals from Zerocater into a chat room via a series of commands.
It’s easier than ever to share anything you want—especially the lunch menu!
Installation
- Create a new room in Hipchat, click the tri-dot button in the top right corner, and click “Integrations”.
- Click the “Find New” tab, find “Zerocater”, and click the “Install” button.
- If you are logged in, it will auto-configure and you’re all set. If not, no worries, just follow the instructions presented and you’ll be good to go in no time!
Using Zerocater from HipChat is super simple. All commands start with “/zc.” Entering “/zc” will provide you with a list of all the available commands and short descriptions of their functions.
Typing “/zc” followed by a specific meal time, such as “dinner”, “breakfast”, or “lunch” will display the scheduled meal at that time for the current day. Additionally, you can specify a weekday, for example “/zc lunch Tuesday” will display the lunch for Tuesday.
Now, you’ll always be in the know about what’s for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Knowledge is power, people!
