Welcome to Zerocater’s Culture Club where you’ll meet the rockstars who are behind the scenes of our daily operations making sure our customers have delicious office meals and snacks, each and every time.
Hannah came onto the team as our first official FCA and has been our guinea pig through this transition. She is so adaptable, willing to share her mistakes as a lesson for everyone on the team, and just rolls with the punches as we figure these processes out. They tend to impact her more than anyone, and she views every single situation as a teaching moment to make Zerocater better. Even when I know it’s super frustrating for her. She moves right along and sees that she’s adding value with her feedback.

Tell us about your current role and what you do?
As an FCA, I plan meal programs for clients in San Francisco and handle their day-to-day meal-related needs.
What is the best part of your role at Zerocater?
The team, and the opportunities for growth!
How you’ve grown in your career since joining Zerocater?
I’ve grown in so many ways, but specific to my career, I’m proud of moving into the enterprise tier in the new year! Handling larger clients is a welcome challenge.
What is your motto or personal mantra when it comes to your career?
Do the next right thing, one thing at a time.
Why did you decide to join Zerocater?
I was looking to get out of the service industry (late nights get tougher as you near 30), but I love working with food. Zerocater was a natural fit.
What has been your most memorable moment with a customer, vendor, or candidate at Zerocater?
This is more of a series of smaller moments, but I’ve really enjoyed growing relationships with clients through their feedback on meals. Taking their specific requests and ideas, turning them into reality, then seeing how pleased they are when our vendors execute is satisfying.
What is your proudest accomplishment at Zerocater and Why?
I quit drinking! This is a personal accomplishment, but I never could have done this without joining the Zerocater team. The positive support, community, and personal coaching from management have allowed me to take this step.
What advice would you give to someone hoping to join the Zerocater team?
Be yourself, and be confident. I think that’s good advice for joining any team; that way you know you’re in the right place.
What’s the best way to start your workday?
With coffee and Ariana Grande, duh.
Tell us two truths and one lie about yourself?
- I wasn’t born in the USA
- I’m left-handed
- I’m a Gemini
What does an ideal Sunday look like for you?
Making leather pieces for Magdalene, my leather accessories line that I’ve had on the side for a few years. I’m working on a passport holder currently. Then cooking a meal with my boyfriend, and end the day cuddling my cats.
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
Travel to Japan and spend the whole time in traditional Japanese spas.
Last question, what is your favorite meal you’ve had at Zerocater?
Soursop, of course.
