In one sentence tell us who Lakeview Rewired Cafe is.
We are a small cafe committed to serving quality breakfast and lunch fare.
Tell us about Lakeview Rewired Cafe!
This project started a year and a half ago. I have always wanted to open a small cafe so when the opportunity off north Broadway came up, I knew I had to do it. At first, we started with just coffees and light pastries, but the community really craved more. We shortly evolved our menu into sandwiches, salads, wraps and now we even have a pork belly bahn mi.
What was the very first menu item?
Our first menu item was super simple. Grilled cheese, done on a panini press, made with swiss, cheddar and provolone.
Tell us about one of your signature dishes!
I think our most popular lunch item is our Rewired BLT. Like all of our food, it’s super simple. Bacon, lettuce, tomato, swiss cheese, and house-made garlic basil mayo on herb focaccia.
What is one thing not many know about Lakeview Rewired Cafe?
There isn’t too much. We really lay it all out on the table.
What’s your favorite thing about feeding companies?
The reaction to the food! I love when people get excited about the food being delivered.
What do you like most about partnering with Zerocater?
Zerocater is customer service focused, just like us. They appreciate the experience.
Tell us about a time where Lakeview Rewired Cafe brought people together or helped to foster community.
We actually donate all of our leftover food and ingredients that are not going to be used to Stand up for Kids, a homeless youth shelter in Lakeview.
Where do you see Lakeview Rewired Cafe in the future?
A year ago we were one small little cafe. Now we have two cafes and a full-scale catering company. Who knows what will happen next!
