According to Business Insider, Google’s newest social platform known as Tablescape, will be centered around food. It will allow foodies to connect and share ‘foodography’ and relevant information with one another.
What could be more epic than sharing a photo of the tantalizing sushi roll from your favorite local eatery with other fanatical foodies? Perhaps, trading age-old recipes with other food forward lovers or connecting directly with your favorite chefs.
Whether you enjoy the process of preparing dishes or consuming them, there is definitely a niche market to be capitalized on. I glean the most cooking inspiration from visual depictions, so I am already hooked, but I propose the restaurant and catering industry might discover the lucrative possibilities as well.
