Reporting into the Director of Catering Operations you will work in close partnership with our Account Managers, aligning on client goals, identifying opportunities for growth, and driving strategic decisions that enhance the customer experience. While the Account Manager owns the relationship, you will own the day-to-day operations and execution ensuring the program runs smoothly and efficiently at every level.
In this high-impact role, you will oversee all aspects of the client’s food program, ensuring flawless execution, exceptional service, and continuous improvement. You’ll serve as the bridge between the client, our internal operations teams, and culinary partners, with a deep focus on quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage teams, solve problems quickly, and lead with a service-first mindset. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, leads by example, and knows how to drive operational excellence in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
What you will do:
- Lead and support a team of 15+ across an enterprise-level account, setting service standards and driving performance.
- Manage operations independently, including time management, problem-solving, and task completion.
- Develop and implement new processes, policies, and programs across teams and locations.
- Act as a strategic partner to Account Managers and customers, guiding successful onboarding and ongoing program success.
- Maintain strong cross-functional communication and proactively identify and mitigate account risks to ensure retention.
Qualifications for success:
- 4+ years of experience managing in a corporate catering environment; food service and/or large team management. (Multi-unit venue experience is a plus!)
- Big picture mindset with an ability to influence strategic direction and improve process during scalable growth
- Ability to adapt and adjust on the fly as situations change; willingness to balance different locations based on client needs
- Highly-proficient in financial analysis, forecasting, spreadsheet development, SOPs and supply chain
- Proven track record of being able to hire, train, coach, promote, and mentor team members
Required License/certifications:
- Current ServeSafe or willing to obtain one upon hire
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Ability to be on your feet for 6-7 hours a day
