Come join a small impactful Engineering team that works closely with our customers and Product to ship code every week. We value Ownership, Independence, Collaboration, Communication, and Bias towards getting things done with measurable results. We use Django, Postgres SQL, Redis, RabbitMQ on the back-end, and React and React Native on the front-end. 

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on Front-end development, but is also able to understand and make small changes in our back-end code built in Python-Django with some help. The person should be keen to make a difference by writing defensive but performant code, thereby influencing where we go as a company, and how the code is organized to achieve the best results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and improve frontend code across various B2B SaaS & Enterprise web applications.
  • Practice and encourage software engineering best practices: reasonable test coverage, appropriate modularization, design cohesive interfaces, and make the call on technical trade-offs.
  • Collaborate in technical reviews to strengthen our architecture and system design, and assist others with coding and troubleshooting.
  • Create and review of feature documentation, architecture diagrams & documentation, data flow diagrams, debugging How To’s and deployment documentation
  • Plan project structure, breakdown stories to tasks, estimate efforts and influence others to deliver on time.
  • Implement and measure instrumentation to analyze usage, decrease user friction, decrease cart abandonment. 
  • Maintain Service Uptime SLAs and build Operational Excellence
    • Define and implement monitoring, observability, traceability
    • Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators
    • Participate in On-Call Rotation
    • Define remediation & resolution playbooks.
