ZeroCater is seeking a motivated, results-driven individual to help manage and scale a team that supports our newest, rapidly growing Snacks and Beverage business unit. The ideal Logistics Supervisor has a customer-centric mindset and is an effective communicator who is open to receiving customer feedback on how to constantly improve our business. You’ll own the day-to-day operations of the fleet including routing, scheduling, handling employee management and training. You’ll also be responsible for motivating your team of Route Drivers who are tasked with ensuring smooth delivery to our customers. This business-critical role has a direct impact on the customer experience through the planning and seamless execution of the distribution of our snacks and beverage products to our valued clients.

What you will do:

  • Partner closely with other Logistics Supervisors, Recruiting and Human Resources to hire, train, motivate and develop a high performing team of Route Drivers
  • Create work hours and shift schedules by using web-based tools to optimally schedule various routes
  • Provide ongoing mentorship while identifying and resolving workplace issues, such as tardiness or absenteeism
  • Prepare reporting and activity updates for management while also maintaining timekeeping and personal records
  • Ability to create and improve existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance the current delivery and warehouse processes

Qualifications for Success:

  • 3+ years of delivery experience in hospitality or food and beverage industries with 1+ years of experience managing teams
  • Proficiency in using web-based tools to optimize and coordinate ideal routes
  • Willingness to adapt, learn, and ability to use new technology tools to increase productivity
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a motor vehicle report, drive a mid-large sized vehicle, and lift 50 pounds
  • Typical schedule: Sunday-Thursday 3:30pm-12:30am
