Trisha’s a Support Team Zen Master! She is a shining example of what customer obsessed and driven to improve mean. Trisha was promoted to the Senior Support Associate role after leveling up through readings, classes and filling gaps in the team’s knowledge and experience. She’s the go-to person for training and guiding the team, and I’m incredibly fortunate to have her as my left tackle. – Steph Jordan, Support Team Manager

Tell us about your current role and what you do?
Think of me as a “food traffic controller!” I’m the Senior Support Associate; an expert in unusual situations! I use critical, fast-thinking to guide my team of Support Associates to provide stress-free and delightful experiences for our clients.
What is the best part about your role at Zerocater?
I get to work with both clients and vendor nationwide. One minute I’m talking to a vendor in New York and the next I’m fulfilling a Happy Hour request for a client in San Francisco. Since Zerocater is a coast-to-coast operation, my day is full of endless possibilities!
How you’ve grown in your career since joining Zerocater?
I have definitely leveled up my skill set in every way professionally, thanks to my Support Team Manager giving me endless opportunities to follow my interests. I’ve even used my education stipend to broaden my knowledge of excel and took three Excel workshops. I have always been interested in the internal onboarding processes and have stepped into new responsibilities, like participating in candidate interviews and conducting Support trainings. Don’t even get me started on the projects I get to manage!
What is your motto or personal mantra when it comes to your career?
Teamwork Makes The Dream Work!
Why did you decide to join Zerocater?
Joining Zerocater was an easy decision, they offer both of my passions, dogs, and food! It was a no brainer when I received my offer letter.
What has been your most memorable moment at Zerocater?
I had a day-of request from a client in New York, chocolate covered strawberries for 200 hundred people, within an hour and 45-minute window. Sounds impossible, right?! Wrong! My man, Samy at Tasty Catering was up for the challenge! Our client wasn’t hopeful we could make this request a reality, but we’re all about making magic happen!
What is your proudest accomplishment at Zerocater and Why?
Training all the incoming Support Associates and seeing them flourish gives me a great sense of accomplishment. Seeing all their training put into action makes me proud and assures me that our clients are in good hands!
What advice would you give to someone hoping to join the Zerocater team?
No matter what you think you know, there is always something more to learn. If you are a food-loving and a lifelong learner, then Zerocater is your place! You’ll forever be challenged, but also be fed!
What’s the best way to start your workday?
We have a shotgun-style office setup in Austin, so I like to start the day going down the office line and greeting every room with my best Mrs. Doubtfire, “Hellloooo!” & “Good Mooorrrning!” People get a little giggly, or it wakes them up. Either way, now we are all happy and ready to take on the day!
Tell us two truths and one lie about yourself?
- I don’t like cheese.
- I have two cats, named Wick and Zoe!
- I’m a true Austinite, born and raised. #unicorn
What does an ideal Sunday look like for you?
Morning cuddles with Zoe and Wick. Then off to the gym with my husband. Followed by brunch with friends. Afterwards, I head home to prep for the coming week and relax with my husband and fur-babies! I like simple and stress-free.
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
I would love to float the Dead Sea in Israel!
Last question, what is your favorite meal you’ve had at Zerocater?
Hands down, Apolonia! They have the best Schnitz and Spaetzle, and don’t get me started on their endless options of Pierogis!
